Brad Pitt To Star In "By The Sea"

In the 2015 drama "By The Sea," fans will see a handsome and experienced actor who could well be considred the performer of a generation. His name is Brad Pitt and he is currently enjoying the amazing box office success of his film "Fury." In the film "By The Sea," Pitt will be playing in a romance film set in 1970s France. It will certainly be interesting to see how it turns out. It will be especially interesting since he will be joined by his wife, Angelina Jolie.

Is Andy Kaufman Still Alive?

In the 1970s and '80s, he was the funniest and most shocking performance artist one could ask for. His brief career was the focal point of the Jim Carrey film "Man on the Moon." He was Andy Kaufman and in 1984, he died from lung cancer even though he did not smoke. Over the years, there has been a lot of talk that he faked his death and that cancer was another one of his pranks. It would seem logical that it was. However, his alter-ego "Tony Clitfon" has been known to make appearances and even has a YouTube page.

An Update On Misty Upham

A few days back, Insomniacmania reported that actress Misty Upham has been missing in Washington state. According to her family, her body has been found in the Seattle suburb of Auburn. It was recovered in a wooded area. Condolences have been sent by Meryl Streep and Juliette Lewis.

Upham was known as a Native American actress who was a part of "Agust: Osage County" as well as "Frozen River."  She was filming "Crawlspace" alongside Nadine Velazquez.

Molly Ringwald Is Back For 2015's "Jem and the Holograms"

The forthcoming film version of the old cartoon "Jem and the Holograms" will feature an '80s legend. Her name is Molly RIngwald. She is known for films such as "Pretty In Pink," "Sixteen Candles" and...of course..."The Breakfast Club." Fans assumed her career died with the 1980s. However, she has lived on with a few roles since then and now with this major role in the flick, which is set for an October 2015 release.

Robert Downey Jr.'s Possible Schedule

Actor Robert Downey Jr. Is getting a lot of mileage out of his characters "Tony Stark" and "Sherlock Holmes." There is a rumored "Sherlock Holmes" film coming in the year or years ahead. There is also a rumored appearance of "Tony Stark" in a new "Iron Man" film. There are also two roles we can confirm and they will be making the actor a lot of money. They will also be making the box office a lot of money. The roles are in "The Avengers" sequel that is set for a 2015 release as well as a newly reported gig in the third entry from the "Captain America" franchise.

"Spotlight" To Feature Michael Keaton

In the 1980s, he was one of the top names in showbusiness. Fans remember him in "Batman," "Beetlejuice," "Mr. Mom" and the classic "Night Shift." He remained a major player into the '90s with roles in other "Batman" flicks as well as "My Life" and "Jackie Brown." From ther, he continued to land roles in major productions. He is still active and still getting good gigs, including a role in the recent reboot of "RoboCop" and the soon to be released Zach Galiafanakis comedy "Birdman." He's Michael Keaton and he has probably earned himself a slot in the Hollywood Hall of Fame.

Showbiz Mourns The Loss of Jan Hooks

Actress Jan Hooks was a major player when she was a part of "Saturday Night Live" years ago. In fact, fans remember seeing her in seemingly every sketch. She was attractive, talneted and funny. In fact, she was quickly noticed by film-makers who asked her to appear in their movies.

Hooks was a part of the 1992 sequel to "Batman" titled "Batman Returns." Fans enjoyed seeing her alongside Danny DeVito and Michelle Pfeiffer. Hooks would also land a gig in a 1998 Ashley Judd comedy titled "Simon Burch."

An All-Female "Ghostbusters"

Yes, we remember Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd as the "Ghostbusters" team. Now, we will be adding female names to that roster? What? Is it ture? Well, according to reports, we will be seeing an all-female reboot of the old classic. This means that the Dan Aykroyds of the world will be overshadowed by the fairer sex. There is no offical word on who the females will be. However, we know that Paul Feig will be the main man behind the scenes and he will be joined by "The Heat's" Katie Dippold.
