Question - You were born and raised in Amsterdam, what do you love about the country?

Mercedes - Yes. What I love about Holland, and especially Amsterdam, is the freedom that we have. I never really realised this until I left and came to America. We can do what we want there, you make your own decisions as far as what's good for you (examples: drinking, going to clubs), instead of the law making those decisions for you.

Question - You are fluent in Farsi and Dutch and learned to speak English at school. Which language do you think is hard to learn?

Mercedes - I don't think any language is hard to learn if yo have a feeling for it and are open to the country and the culture. I do think that for foreigners Dutch is a pretty hard language to learn.

Mercedes - Know what you are doing when you're lifting weights, you really don't want to do the exercises the wrong way. And get some help. There is so much you need to know about dieting, supplementation and the various exercises and their sets and reps. If you want to do it, do it right, and I recommend that you ask for some help if you're just getting started. It's better to take it slow and get help from the ones who can teach you what you need to know to reach your fullest potential.
