Brutally's picture

Yes, we remember Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd as the "Ghostbusters" team. Now, we will be adding female names to that roster? What? Is it ture? Well, according to reports, we will be seeing an all-female reboot of the old classic. This means that the Dan Aykroyds of the world will be overshadowed by the fairer sex. There is no offical word on who the females will be. However, we know that Paul Feig will be the main man behind the scenes and he will be joined by "The Heat's" Katie Dippold.

"Ghostbusters" was first released in 1984 with a sequel a few years later. The first "Ghostbusters" flick was a cultural phenom. Its cast was like an all-star team of 1980s and eventually 1990s stars such as Murray, Aykroyd, Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver.

The 1984 film made over $200 million which was a lot by 1980s standards and would be a lot by today's standards. It launched cartoons and merchandising statitistics that went through the roof.
