The Latest On The New "Godzilla" And The History Of The Story

Warner Bros. has announced that the sequel to its new version of the old classic Godzilla will be released in June 2018. Gareth Edwards will return as the director, he did well in the first version which was released this year. It starred Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Olsen.

Movies about "Godzilla" have been a part of showbiz for generations upon generations. In the mid-20th century, a version of Godzilla was released featuring Japanese performers. it was a huge success when it was released in the U.S. It also brought about thoughts of an American version. Well, we got American versions of the film. One of note was released in the late 1990s and starred Matthew Broderick. 

In the 1970s, Raymond Burr joined Japanese actors for a film that was known as Godzilla. It was popular in Japan, Italy and the U.S. 2014's version of the old classic raked in over $200 million.
