Fans of popular music and pop culture would see it as an honor to portray a young Snoop Dogg. Well, an actor named Keith Stanfield out of California will have the honor when he joins the cast of the forthcoming film about gangsta rap group N.W.A. titled Straight Outta Compton. Though little is known about Stanfield at this point, he seems like he would be able to pull off the difficult role of playing this distinctive persona.

Stanfield started his career in short films before moving up to full-length motion pictures with a role in Brie Lasron's 2013 flick Short Term 12. He later joined the casts of Memoria and The Purge: Anarchy.

Stanfiled is signed to play in other films such as a Ewan McGregor and Don Cheadle action flick named Miles Ahead and a number of short films. He is also slated to appear in a story about civil rights leader Martin Luther King named Selma.

Insomniacmania has also learned that we will see Stanfield in a 2016 film titled The Wanting Mare.
